The National Adoption and Fostering Clinic is an NHS service for adoptive and foster families. We are situated in London but work with families both nationally and internationally. We are part of the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Our work is based on a comprehensive and holistic assessment of children and young people’s needs. We are committed to understanding children as individuals, personalising our assessments and treatments to each family.

After assessment, we design a bespoke treatment package, that can be delivered either by our team or by other services. Our treatments are based on the latest evidence and are delivered by highly skilled practitioners that are specialists in the field of adoption and fostering.

If you want to get in touch, you can call us on +44 (0)20 3228 2546, or get in touch by email.

In order to ensure a thorough assessment, we consider information from the child, caregivers, other professionals and school.
